As an Industrial Assembler on our Door Assembly team, you will be responsible for the accurate installation of custom doors in a commercial setting. The ideal candidate will have basic carpentry skills, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow directions precisely to ensure high-quality workmanship that meets our company standards. Reporting directly to the Manager, this position is based in Millington, MD.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in carpentry, construction, or related trade preferred.
- Skills: Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with standard tools and equipment. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Customer Focus: Ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently. Good physical condition: ability to lift up to 75 lbs, stand, bend, and climb ladders as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Install custom-manufactured doors according to job specifications and client requirements.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Use hand and power tools to prepare openings, align frames, hang doors, and install hardware.
- Ensure installations are level, plumb, and properly sealed or finished.
- Communicate clearly with team members, supervisors, and occasionally clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting doors and installation materials.
- Follow instructions and complete tasks independently or as part of a team.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments on installed doors as needed.
