JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an analytical, dynamic, customer centric Solutions Specialist to join our team. This position will be part of our Quote Reaction Force team managing our quote opportunities in the Utility, BESS, Data Center, and Hydrogen markets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Computes cost estimates for materials, equipment, subcontracted work, labor, etc. to assist with bidding or pricing a project.
• Utilizes blueprints and specifications and knowledge of the construction industry to analyze project needs and compile cost estimates.
• Reviews all contract documents to become familiar with project requirements and obligations under the contract and applies to pricing (schedule, specifications, drawings, safety manual, etc.).
• Communicates with customers to obtain information required for estimating and proposal requirements.
• Communicates with vendors to coordinate solutions and pricing from them to meet project requirements.
• Prepares professional proposals for submittal to customers.
• Prepares reports and analysis pertinent to manufacturing/construction estimating, as requested by management for their review.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• 5 to 7 years of electrical construction, steel fabrication of manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in estimating electrical/construction or steel fabrication projects required.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) experience is required.
• Experience using AutoCAD is preferred.
