JOB SUMMARY:
As a 2nd Shift Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a vital role in our production team, focusing on operating and maintaining copper punch and bend machines. This hands-on position involves measuring, cutting, bending, and punching copper to precise specifications. You’ll work Monday through Thursday, 4 PM to 2:30 AM – so you’ll have Fridays off for a long weekend every week!

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
  • Ability to train on first shift.
  • Experience in copper fabrication or similar manufacturing roles, required. 
  • Ability to read a tape measure and convert fractions to decimals. 
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new programs. 
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while staying motivated to stay on task and work efficiently. 
  • Forklift and crane certification eligibility.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Operate copper punch and bend machines, adjusting settings for accuracy. 
  • Measure, cut, bend, and punch copper according to specifications. 
  • Perform routine maintenance to keep machines in top working condition. 
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. 
  • Train and guide helpers when needed to complete tasks efficiently. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and productivity.
