As an Estimator, you will be responsible for supporting increased demand for product and field service offerings. You will also develop estimates of materials, labor, and other costs necessary to complete customer projects. This position is based in Richland, MS.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in construction engineering technology would be ideal and may be accepted in lieu of estimating experience.
- Skills: Must have estimating experience, preferably in a construction or power generation environment. Microsoft Office Suite experience required (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Strong math, oral and written communication skills are required.
- Customer Focus: Salesforce CRM (customer relationship management) software and AutoCAD experience is preferred.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Process incoming RFQs/RFPs in accordance with company procedures.
- Review RFQ/RFP to determine project requirements and technical accuracy.
- Utilize prints, specifications, and knowledge of the construction industry to analyze project needs.
- Consult customer and/or sales representative as needed to collect additional information.
- Calculate cost estimates for materials, labor, and other items necessary to price project for bid submittal prior to deadline.
- Request proposal feedback and status updates on project awards.
- Enter and update data in CRM software (Salesforce).
- Estimate change order costs for the project management group.
- Provide updates and reports on estimating activity upon request.
