As a Painter, you will be responsible for prepping, painting, and finishing products according to customer specifications and company standards. Your role will ensure high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience: Experience in industrial or commercial painting preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate, along with occasional touch-up work.
- Skill: Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Familiarity with safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE). This job involves repetitive tasks, so consistency and stamina are important.
- Customer Focus: Ability to follow written instructions and specifications. A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. Someone who is self-motivated and takes initiative to complete tasks without constant supervision. Reliability and strong attendance are crucial for success in this role.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Safely perform all painting-related tasks while adhering to our safety program.
- Review job specification sheets to determine the correct paint color and type.
- Ensure products are properly washed, cleaned, and positioned in the paint booth before painting.
- Prepare surfaces by applying filler, sanding, and masking off areas that should remain unpainted.
- Verify that products have been inspected and approved by Quality Control before painting.
- Apply paint in accordance with company standards or customer specifications.
- Allow for proper curing and drying time, notifying supervisors when the product is ready for inspection and removal.
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring ongoing housekeeping and safety standards.
- Actively participate in safety meetings, wear proper safety gear (glasses, respirator, paint suit, steel-toed shoes, etc.), and follow hazmat and ISO protocols.
