JOB SUMMARY
As Machine Maintenance Helper, you will be responsible for assisting with skilled maintenance and repair tasks for mechanical, electrical, and physical structures. Responsibilities include dismantling and repairing machinery, diagnosing mechanical problems, and maintaining electrical systems and fixtures. Familiarity with using hoists, cranes, and various tools is essential. Reporting directly to the General Manger, this position is based in Houston, TX.

​​​​​​​WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience: High School Diploma or GED preferred. 1-2 years of experience required. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Customer Focus: Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Disassemble machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine repair methods, utilizing blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, and precision measuring instruments or electrical/electronic testing devices.
