Job Summary
The Continuous Improvement Specialist leads and facilitates Continuous Improvement efforts in the areas of quality and productivity by applying the appropriate Lean and or Six Sigma principles to improve metrics and achieve Company-driven goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads and manages Continuous Improvement projects using Six Sigma principles to improve operational processes, reduce waste, and achieve company goals.
- Assesses and manages preventive actions.
- Participates in quality improvement teams and assists in QMS management, auditing, and implementation.
- Mentors, coaches, and trains project team members in basic Six Sigma principles.
- Monitors and tracks monthly metric programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of experience required.
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
- Continuing education in Quality and Lean Manufacturing preferred.
- ISO 9001 Standard knowledge.
- Thorough knowledge of quality metrology and data acquisition techniques.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
- Familiarity with information systems development preferred.
- 2 years experience in a role that included responsibilities related to optimizing business processes preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform required with experience developing customized Power Apps and Power Automate solutions preferred.
- You are a candidate who can come to your interview prepared to describe past process improvement projects you have owned start to finish and that had demonstrated positive impacts to your bottom line.
- You are able to demonstrate that you are a detail-oriented individual with strong problem solving skills while referencing examples from your work experience.
