Your Responsibilities:
Perform required inspection and testing of welded and surfaced components before, during and after welding work, as required by the project.
Plan, perform and document inspection and surveillance activities as required by the project, including ASME standard and European standards requirements.
Review project specifications, technical drawings and reports to ensure applicable quality requirements and incorporate them into work instructions and inspection and test plans.
Perform inspections of incoming production materials for compliance with requirements.
Prepare non-conformance reports and report solutions to supervisor in accordance with applicable code requirements or required standards.
Regularly reviewing tools and equipment used for inspection and taking actions and precautions to prevent damage.
Performing the duties of quality assurance specialist and technical support when assigned to an overhaul project.
Acting in a supervisory role for inspections and repairs performed for overhaul projects, including managing the work of employees, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, overseeing logistics operations, etc.
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Manager.
Our expectations:
University or technical education in welding, mechanics or related field.
Experience in a similar position in a manufacturing or industrial environment (2 years or more)
Qualification to perform inspection tests such as VT(2), PT(2) - mandatory and UT(2), MT(2), IWI, IWE, IWT – additional advantage.
In-depth knowledge of technical nondestructive testing standards applicable to quality control, both ASME and European standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
English language at a B1/B2 level (spoken and written).
Very good computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
SCC Certificate – additional advantage.
Working conditions:
Working at the customer site (globally) otherwise office-based, Monday to Friday in Radom, Poland. May include shift work.
