JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for setting up, preparing, and performing High Voltage Electrical and leak tests of components and assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assembles test fixtures and performs preliminary test of completed shipping assemblies in accordance with standard procedures and/or special non-standard instructions.
- Conducts High Voltage Electrical Tests of completed shipping assemblies in accordance with standard procedures and/or special non-standard instructions.
- Conducts routine mechanical and configuration inspection of final assemblies at testing in accordance with work instructions and as specified by drawings; Checks Quality Assurance records pertinent to the work.
- Maintains log and records of all tests done.
- Prepares tested final assemblies for shipping, including installing shipping covers and filling assemblies with nitrogen.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HS diploma or GED required.
  • Some technical schooling preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
 

Pay: $16.00/Hr-$18.00/Hr
