JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for an Assembly and Wiring Production Supervisor to join our team at Avail Switchgear Systems in Houston, TX. In this role, you’ll oversee production activities, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and train team members on essential skills, including reading wiring diagrams and designs. • Leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and designs to train and support team members.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience, including task delegation, team management, and safety oversight.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting production goals and maintaining quality.
• Commitment to fostering a safe and compliant production environment.

• Supervise daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
• Develop and coordinate production schedules to meet company and customer expectations.
• Train team members on job-specific tasks, safety protocols, and interpreting wiring diagrams and designs.
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, safety, training, and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues affecting production schedules.
• Monitor and manage resources, ensuring the team has the materials and tools needed for success.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
