JOB SUMMARY The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the production schedule for the facility. This role ensures that customer demands, inventory levels, capacity, and resource availability are balanced to achieve on-time delivery and production efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in production planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position is on-site based in Millington, Maryland.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Develop and manage the master production schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory targets, and manufacturing capacity.
Collaborate with production, procurement, sales, engineering, and quality to ensure schedule feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Analyze capacity constraints and proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks.
Monitor actual production output against the plan and adjust the schedule as needed to meet customer requirements.
Maintain planning parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, and safety stocks.
Coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability aligns with the production schedule.
Generate and distribute schedule reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, production planning, and supply chain efficiency.
Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings to align demand and supply planning.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field; or equivalent work experience
3+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
