JOB SUMMARY
The HR Generalist is responsible for providing day to day administration of policies and programs covering benefits, recruiting, compensation, training, payroll, employee and labor relations, safety and workers’ compensation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Implements HR operational strategies in line with plant goals and objectives.
  • Provides first line mediation to advise, assist, follow-up and resolve issues regarding company policies, procedures, and documentation for employees.
  • Builds strong business relationships with plant leadership team to assist in setting business priorities and work activities.
  • Facilitates with plant leadership team to determine and implement best practices and solutions for employees.
  • Actively identifies gaps and proposes and implements changes necessary to mitigate compliance risks.
  • Analyzes HR data to identify trends and establish metrics.
  • Applies and correlates organizational metrics with business success.
  • Partners with plant leadership team to establish and ensure adherence to budgets and business plan.
  • May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree, required.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience, required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional of Human Resources (PHR) certifications, preferred.
