We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team. In this role, you will establish, implement, and oversee quality control efforts to ensure standard parts, units, equipment, and materials conform to quality standards. This position will play a key role in ensuring compliance across all departments while leading and mentoring Quality Control personnel to achieve excellence.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Education: HS diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in quality assurance and/or manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and ISO 9001 certification requirements.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Experience in root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Manage the quality control function to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls.
  • Oversee inspections of all jobs in production, ensuring compliance with company Quality Policy and Procedures.
  • Ensure alignment with ISO 9001 certification requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Initiate corrective actions for procedural product or process deficiencies.
  • Lead organizational efforts in root cause analysis and corrective/preventative actions.
  • Document and track non-conformance and corrective action reports.
  • Manage Quality Control department for product testing and field service tests.
  • Review customer contact reports and recommend corrective actions to the Management Team.
  • Communicate production problems or concerns to the General Manager.
  • Work directly with manufacturing to schedule and control inspection activities.
  • Oversee audits to ensure established standards of quality are maintained.
  • Implement corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Train, mentor, and guide teams to improve product quality and align with business goals.
  • Monitor industry developments and provide input to management on potential impacts to hardware and technologies.
