JOB SUMMARY 

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating various machines, including press brakes, punches, and laser punches, ensuring efficient production while adhering to safety and quality standards. 
Third Shift (7 pm-5 am) 
Pay range for this role is based on experience: $21-$24

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Experience: Experience on an Amada EMK is preferred. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance procedures, with the ability to perform simple repairs. 
  • Skills: Proven experience as a Machine Operator, with hands-on experience operating press brakes, punch machines, and laser punches.  Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product quality. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials as needed. 
  • Customer Focus: Strong understanding of machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting. Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. 


WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Machine Operation: Operate press brakes, punches, and laser punch machines to manufacture high-quality products according to production schedules and specifications. 

  • Setup and Adjustment: Set up machines, tools, and materials for production runs, ensuring proper alignment and calibration for optimal performance. 

  • Production Monitoring: Monitor machine operation throughout the shift to identify potential issues and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. 

  • Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and technical specifications. Make adjustments to equipment as necessary to maintain consistent quality. 

  • Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure equipment runs smoothly and safely. 

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety concerns or potential hazards immediately. 

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, including supervisors and other operators, to meet production goals and resolve any issues that arise during operations. 

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and any issues encountered during operation.
