Must be able to commute to Millington, Maryland daily as this position is in office. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Inventory Management
    • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits.
    • Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
    • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
  2. Organization and Layout
    • Optimize stockroom layout for efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
    • Implement and maintain a systematic organization system to streamline processes.
    • Ensure proper labeling and identification of all items in the stockroom.
  1. Quality Control
    • Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with the quality control team to address and resolve any discrepancies.
    • Implement and enforce quality standards for stockroom processes.
  1. Communication
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and procurement, to ensure seamless material flow.
    • Communicate effectively with team members, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
    • Report on stockroom metrics and performance to management.
  1. Safety Compliance
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety training sessions for stockroom associates.
    • Investigate and report any safety incidents, implementing corrective actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
  • Proven experience in stockroom or warehouse management, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.


 

Pay: $20.00-$24.00
