JOB SUMMARY
The Manufacturing Administrative Specialist role is responsible for various administrative tasks in a manufacturing environment. The position also involves regular data entry, maintenance of planning logs, updating GEMBA boards, and supporting new hire orientation.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong background in a manufacturing environment
- Post-high school education preferred, but not required if candidate has relevant experience
- Strong background in time and record keeping.
- Experience in calendar management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
- Experience with Cronos or Workday systems is a plus.
- Ability to understand administrative needs and work independently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive in implementing new technologies and efficiencies.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with all departments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Monitor time and attendance, verify proper clock-ins
- Work closely with the HR Coordinator
- Work with engineering to distribute blueprints
- Log planning information
- Interact with all departments
- Sets up and manages paper or electronic filing systems, recording information, updating paperwork, or maintaining documents, such as attendance records, correspondence, or other material.
- Schedules appointments and maintains and updates appointment calendars.
- Composes, types, and distributes meeting notes, routine correspondence, or basic reports
