We are searching for a knowledgeable 2D CAD Drafter to join our growing team!

Our shift is from 6 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday, in office. With ample opportunity for overtime.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Draft 2D Model, required drawings, analyze data to determine changes/modifications needed, and verify the accuracy and completeness of the model/drawings.
Reviews all applicable documentation and company procedural manuals to determine critical parameters of design.
Converts engineers' rough product design sketches into working documents by digitizing with computer aided design (CAD).
Maintains standards by reviewing engineering drawings and supporting documentation.
Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs.
Uses knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, etc., in developing designs and confers with other departments as necessary to ensure integrity and manufacturability.
Understands established standards, follows them, and suggests improvements when possible. CAD Drafter

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Experience with 2D (CAD) modeling software required.
• An associate's degree, technical training or equivalent experience required.
• Experience designing structural preferred.
• Exceptional computer skills.
• Experience using Computer-Aided Design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
