We are searching for a knowledgeable 2D CAD Drafter to join our growing team!

Our shift is from 6 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday, in office. With ample opportunity for overtime.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Draft 2D Model, required drawings, analyze data to determine changes/modifications needed, and verify the accuracy and completeness of the model/drawings.
- Reviews all applicable documentation and company procedural manuals to determine critical parameters of design.
- Converts engineers' rough product design sketches into working documents by digitizing with computer aided design (CAD).
- Maintains standards by reviewing engineering drawings and supporting documentation.
- Collaborates with design originators to resolve discrepancies between original drawings and final CAD designs.
- Uses knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, etc., in developing designs and confers with other departments as necessary to ensure integrity and manufacturability.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Experience with 2D (CAD) modeling software required.
• An associate's degree, technical training or equivalent experience required.
• Experience designing structural preferred.
• Exceptional computer skills.
• Experience using Computer-Aided Design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
